My claim started with a water leak. The insurance company sent in one of their contractors. That initial contractor put all my appliances on the back porch. My appliances were damaged by the rain and weather. That same company tore up my 1930s home without any thought of asbestos or lead. The initial insurance company estimate was $7,800.00.
